He will discuss the outcome of the November midterm elections and share how it will impact Congress\u2019 health care agenda in 2019. Following his remarks, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with him on health policy topics of interest.<\/p>\n<p>Congressman Don Beyer is serving his second term as the U.S. Representative from Virginia\u2019s 8th District, representing Arlington, Alexandria, Falls Church and parts of Fairfax County. He has served on the Joint Economic Committee, the House Committee on Natural Resources, as Vice Ranking Member of the Science Space and Technology Committee, Ranking Member on the Oversight Subcommittee, and a member of the New Democrat Coalition.<\/p>\n<p>Applied Policy is a proud sponsor of NVHPF and its educational and networking events. We would welcome your attendance. Doors for the breakfast forum will open at 8:00 a.m. and the speakers\u2019 remarks will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. The event will be held in the Potomac Room of the Hilton Alexandria Old Town, 1767 King Street in Alexandria. \u00a0There is no cost to attend, but RSVPs are required.
