We regularly assist associations and professional societies service their memberships in these areas of expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Give Your Members a Voice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applied Policy worked with a national association of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) to develop and publish a report showing the value of GPOs and the continued need for the safe harbor provisions that allow GPOs to provide their services. The GAO was in the process of producing a report that called into question the long-term value of GPOs and the association\u2019s members wanted their perspective to be represented as a counter-point. Applied Policy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Worked with the individual members to create a balanced, concise and factual report that reflected the diverse views members in a cohesive and compelling manner;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Published the paper; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Distributed it on Capitol Hill in advance of the GAO report being completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applied Policy worked with a national association representing the interests of doctors of optometry to apply for a special CMS care delivery program. This effort required Applied Policy to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop a strategic plan for changing how physicians assess vision health in children in order to address refractive issues early and thereby improve the child\u2019s ability for life-long learning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write an application outlining in detail the objectives and benefits of the program; the milestones that would show the program\u2019s progress; and the financial and personnel requirements that would be shared within this private\/public partnership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Applied Policy represents businesses in three main verticals: pharmaceutical, healthcare services and devices &#038; diagnostics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"parent":51,"menu_order":2,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"page-templates\/page-with-sidebar.php","meta":{"nf_dc_page":"","footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-52","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 -
