Caitlyn Bernard Shreve is a Senior Health Policy Associate at Applied Policy. Prior to joining Applied Policy, Caitlyn worked in primary care, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges faced by providers and patients, as well as the intersection of clinical practice with federal health policy.
She also supported science and regulatory advocacy at PhRMA, focusing on Food and Drug Administration (FDA) policy, real-world evidence, and clinical trial modernization. Additionally, she served as a fellow at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), where she worked on primary care grant initiatives.
While completing her degree, Caitlyn completed a practicum at the Institute for Safe Medication Practices, where she conducted epidemiologic analyses and evaluated the CMS Open Payments Database. She holds a Master of Public Health from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from George Mason University.
