Brittany La Couture is a Vice President for Health Policy at Applied Policy. A health policy attorney with more than a decade of experience at the intersection of law, regulation, and implementation, she advises life sciences companies, providers, and trade associations on Medicare coverage, coding, and reimbursement strategy.
Before joining Applied Policy, Brittany spent eight years at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), where she led regulatory drafting and policy development for the Medicare Advantage and Part D programs. She served as a subject matter expert on Medicare Advantage network adequacy, Employer Group Waiver Plans (EGWPs), and agent and broker compensation policies. She was a program lead on the Quality Payment Program and played a key role in the design and implementation of several Alternative Payment Models within the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation.
Earlier in her career, Brittany worked in health policy research and advocacy at the American Action Forum and the Cato Institute, where her analyses, congressional testimony, and Supreme Court amicus briefs helped shape public understanding of health reform and market-based policy design. She holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Psychology, summa cum laude, from Holy Family University.
