As President and CEO of Applied Policy, I focus on changing government policies that limit access to the products and services that help consumers live longer, healthier lives. In my work over the last decade, I’ve become keenly aware of the contributions that non-profit organizations make towards this shared goal.

The Alliance for Aging Research is the leading nonprofit organization “dedicated to accelerating the pace of scientific discoveries and their application to vastly improve the universal human experience of aging and health.”  This year, I am serving as Chair of the Alliance, and I am honored to be part of their efforts to improve the lives of a growing portion of our population.

In my role as Chair, I write a monthly blog, and recently wrote about the ongoing contributions of the landmark Framingham Heart Study, now in it 70th year of making significant contributions to the heart health of Americans. I invite you to share my thoughts here.
