Health Policy Associate & Sr Health Policy Associate Job Posting
Full-Time Position – Alexandria, VA
Applied Policy, a rapidly growing healthcare consultancy, is expanding and looking for self-motivated professionals who can assist with an existing portfolio of clients and help expand our business. We are hiring both associate and senior associate level individuals. These positions will focus on issues confronting providers, manufacturers and suppliers throughout the lifecycle of the products and services these companies provide.
We design strategic and tactical plans to help our clients better serve their customers and patients by maximizing adoption and uptake of their products and services. We bring our integrated health policy and healthcare market expertise to bear on the support we provide to our clients. In particular, associates and senior associates assist our clients in anticipating, assessing and navigating changes to Medicare, Medicaid, and evolving payment programs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct primary and secondary qualitative and quantitative research.
- Analyze health policy documents to determine direct business implications for clients.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of projects to clients.
- Draft written summaries, white papers, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Regularly act as project manager responsible for meeting deadlines and stewarding projects to successful completion.
Qualifications
Candidates will have completed graduate studies in healthcare related areas. Individuals without a graduate degree should possess the equivalent in terms of directly-related work experience.
Health Policy Associates will have at least 2 years of relevant professional work experience.
Senior Health Policy Associates will have at least 5 years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Good working knowledge of healthcare and related issues.
- Advanced research skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Sound analytic, problem solving, and quantitative skills.
- Customer service oriented and solution-focused bias to action.
- Proven team player; strong relationship building skills both internally and externally.
- High level of initiative coupled with quick learning ability.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
