Title: Senior Associate

Description: Full-time, Alexandria, VA.

Applied Policy, a rapidly growing healthcare consultancy, is expanding and looking for a self-motivated professional who can assist with an existing portfolio of clients and help expand our business. The Senior Associate will focus on strategic and tactical issues confronting providers, manufacturers and suppliers throughout the lifecycle of the products and services these companies provide.

Responsibilities:

• Employ project management skills to ensure the project team remains on time and proactively serving a client’s needs.
• Analyze regulations, legislation, coverage policies and other payer output and produce professionally written materials for use with clients.
• Produce professional and engaging presentations for use with client senior leadership.
• Participate with senior staff on client calls and presentations with opportunities to present directly.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant full-time work experience with an understanding of the consulting environment a plus.
• Completed graduate studies in public policy, public health, public administration, law, business, statistics, economics, mathematics, or related fields.
• Good working knowledge of healthcare and related issues.
• Strong project management skills.
• Advanced research skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Team player with interpersonal skills that can build relationships both internally and externally.
• High degree of professional maturity, sound decision making ability, and an eagerness to learn.
