Brenna Casey

Brenna Casey is an Operations Associate at Applied Policy where she assists with the operational and strategic functioning of the company, as well as managing day-to-day facility and procurement responsibilities.

Prior to Applied Policy, Ms. Casey worked with Families USA in Washington DC, a healthcare advocacy and public policy nonprofit organization. She was responsible for daily office management, administrative, and HR functions.  During her tenure, she helped facilitate a successful transition of new executive leadership, an office re-location, and a re-organization of personnel.  Ms. Casey also served as a liaison for the Foundation’s Board of Directors and managed activities leading up to the annual Health Action Conference.

Ms. Casey has also held positions with the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice; Impact, a Virginia environmental nonprofit; and University of Virginia’s Cognitive Aging Research Laboratory.

Ms. Casey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs, Psychology, and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia. She is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the University of Virginia’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and is expected to receive her certificate in May 2018.
